DiamondCare & DiamondCare+ Protection Plan Terms
Protection is optional.
DiamondCare and DiamondCare+ are optional paid protection plans for eligible PerfectCall Varsity systems. They provide coverage for certain accidental physical damage and breakage that is not covered by the standard manufacturer warranty.
DiamondCare uses a return-first service process. DiamondCare+ provides advance replacement after claim approval, subject to the damaged device being returned as required below.
These DiamondCare and DiamondCare+ Protection Plan Terms ("Plan Terms") are between PerfectCall Inc. ("PerfectCall," "we," "our," or "us") and the purchaser identified on the applicable order or Plan confirmation ("Plan Holder," "you," or "your").
Your order or Plan confirmation identifies the Plan you purchased, the Plan price, the Covered System, the Coverage Start Date, and the Plan term. These Plan Terms, together with that order or Plan confirmation, form the protection-plan contract (the "Plan").

1. PLAN OPTIONS
| Plan | Term | Price | Service Limit |
|---|---|---|---|
| DiamondCare | 1 Year | $199 | Up to 2 Covered Service Events total |
| DiamondCare+ | 1 Year | $249 | Up to 2 Covered Service Events total |
| DiamondCare | 2 Years | $499 | Up to 3 per Coverage Year; 6 total maximum |
| DiamondCare+ | 2 Years | $599 | Up to 3 per Coverage Year; 6 total maximum |
The Plan shown on your Plan confirmation controls if it differs from the table above because of a documented promotion, discount, or other expressly stated commercial term. A discount does not change the coverage or claim limits unless the Plan confirmation expressly says otherwise.
Plans are fixed-term contracts and do not automatically renew. If PerfectCall offers renewal or replacement coverage after expiration, it will require a separate purchase or agreement.
2. COVERED SYSTEM AND COVERED HARDWARE
2.1 Covered System
A Plan applies to the eligible Varsity system identified in the Plan confirmation ("Covered System"). Coverage is system-wide and is not a separate allowance for each device.
2.2 Covered Hardware
Unless the Plan confirmation expressly states otherwise, Covered Hardware means:
- PerfectCall P1 Player Devices registered to the Covered System; and
- the PerfectCall Hub registered to the Covered System, including the standard Hub antenna supplied by PerfectCall.
2.3 Hardware Not Covered
Unless expressly listed on the Plan confirmation, the Plan does not cover:
- Coach Tablets or other Coach Devices;
- carrying cases;
- chargers, cables, power adapters, or other removable accessories;
- third-party devices or accessories; or
- equipment that is not registered to the Covered System.
3. WHAT THE PLAN COVERS
Subject to the exclusions, service limits, and procedures in these Plan Terms, the Plan covers accidental physical damage to Covered Hardware arising from normal handling and normal baseball or softball use, including practices and games ("Covered Damage").
Examples of Covered Damage may include:
- a cracked or broken P1 display caused by an accidental impact;
- a broken P1 enclosure or functional strap component caused by an accidental impact;
- physical damage to a charging interface caused by an accidental incident during normal use;
- accidental impact damage to the Hub enclosure or standard antenna; and
- internal functional damage directly resulting from a covered accidental physical event.
Coverage is limited to repair or replacement of Covered Hardware as described in these Plan Terms. The Plan does not provide cash compensation for damaged Hardware.
Relationship to the manufacturer warranty
DiamondCare and DiamondCare+ are separate from the Varsity Limited Warranty. Manufacturing defects that are covered by the Varsity Limited Warranty will be handled under that warranty and will not consume a DiamondCare or DiamondCare+ service allowance. The Plans primarily provide accidental- damage protection and service benefits that are not included in the standard warranty.
4. WHAT THE PLAN DOES NOT COVER
The Plan does not cover:
- loss, disappearance, or theft;
- intentional damage, abuse, reckless misuse, or damage caused for the purpose of obtaining Plan benefits;
- damage that existed before the Coverage Start Date;
- damage occurring after the Plan expires or after the applicable service limit has been exhausted;
- ordinary cosmetic wear, scratches, scuffs, discoloration, or other appearance-only damage that does not materially affect function;
- normal wear and tear, gradual deterioration, battery-capacity reduction, or consumable wear not caused by a specific Covered Damage event;
- manufacturing defects to the extent covered by an applicable manufacturer warranty;
- liquid intrusion, immersion, condensation, extreme temperature, or other environmental exposure outside PerfectCall's published operating or storage conditions;
- fire, flood, natural disaster, vehicle damage, crushing, animal damage, or other extraordinary external events unrelated to normal handling or normal baseball or softball use;
- damage caused by unauthorized repair, modification, disassembly, or servicing;
- damage caused by incompatible, unsafe, or non-approved charging equipment, power sources, accessories, or modifications;
- data loss, corruption, lost statistics, lost Coaching Data, or loss of use;
- shipping damage caused by packaging or a shipping method not authorized by PerfectCall when returning Hardware for service; or
- any Hardware or accessory excluded under Section 2.3.
The Plan does not include preventive maintenance, routine cleaning, routine battery replacement, or scheduled maintenance services.
5. COVERAGE START, DURATION, AND ENROLLMENT
5.1 Coverage Start Date
If the Plan is purchased with a new Varsity System, coverage begins on the delivery date of the Varsity System unless the Plan confirmation states a later date. If the Plan is purchased during an approved post-delivery enrollment period, coverage begins on the date shown on the Plan confirmation.
5.2 Duration
A one-year Plan expires one year after the Coverage Start Date. A two-year Plan expires two years after the Coverage Start Date. Coverage ends earlier if the Plan is canceled or the maximum total service allowance is exhausted, subject to the annual limits described below.
5.3 Post-Delivery Enrollment
Unless PerfectCall states a different enrollment period in writing, a Plan may be added within thirty (30) days after delivery of an eligible Varsity System. Covered Hardware must be undamaged and functioning at the time of enrollment. PerfectCall may require photographs, device diagnostics, serial-number verification, or other reasonable proof of condition before accepting late enrollment. Damage occurring before the Coverage Start Date is not covered.
6. SERVICE AND REPLACEMENT LIMITS
6.1 One-Year Plans
DiamondCare 1-Year and DiamondCare+ 1-Year each provide up to two (2) Covered Service Events during the Plan term.
6.2 Two-Year Plans
DiamondCare 2-Year and DiamondCare+ 2-Year each provide up to three (3) Covered Service Events during the first Coverage Year and up to three (3) Covered Service Events during the second Coverage Year, for a maximum of six (6) during the full two-year term.
Unused first-year service allowances do not roll over into the second Coverage Year.
6.3 What Counts as a Covered Service Event
Each Covered Hardware device that PerfectCall repairs or replaces under an approved Plan claim counts as one Covered Service Event. If one incident damages two Covered Hardware devices and both are repaired or replaced under the Plan, two Covered Service Events are used.
A denied claim does not count against the service limit. A repair or replacement provided solely under the Varsity Limited Warranty does not count against the Plan limit.
6.4 Replacement Does Not Reset Coverage
A repaired or replacement device inherits the remaining Plan term and remaining service allowance of the device or Covered System. A replacement does not create a new Plan, restart the term, or reset any annual or total service limit.
7. HOW TO MAKE A CLAIM
Claims must be reported to PerfectCall as soon as reasonably practical after Covered Damage occurs and before the Plan expires.
- Contact PerfectCall at help@perfectcallsports.com or through any claim portal identified by PerfectCall.
- Provide the Team / account name, Covered System information, device serial number, and a description of what happened.
- Provide photographs, diagnostic information, logs, or other reasonable information requested to verify eligibility and damage.
- Do not send Hardware until PerfectCall provides claim or return authorization instructions.
- Follow the DiamondCare or DiamondCare+ procedure in Section 8.
PerfectCall may deny a claim if the requested information is not reasonably provided, if the damage is excluded, if the Hardware is not covered, if the applicable service limit has been exhausted, or if the claim is fraudulent or materially misrepresented.
8. SERVICE PROCEDURES
8.1 DiamondCare — Return First
- PerfectCall reviews the claim and, if potentially eligible, issues return instructions and an RMA or claim number.
- You ship the damaged Covered Hardware to the service location identified by PerfectCall.
- PerfectCall receives and inspects the Hardware.
- If the claim is approved, PerfectCall will repair the Covered Hardware or provide a replacement, at PerfectCall's option.
- PerfectCall pays standard outbound shipping for the repaired or replacement Covered Hardware to a United States delivery address.
Under DiamondCare, you are responsible for the cost of shipping the damaged Hardware to PerfectCall unless applicable law requires otherwise or PerfectCall provides a prepaid label. Expedited or special shipping requested by you may be charged separately with your approval.
8.2 DiamondCare+ — Advance Replacement
- PerfectCall reviews the claim information and determines whether the claim is eligible for advance replacement.
- PerfectCall may require a valid payment method to secure return of the damaged Hardware.
- After approval, PerfectCall ships replacement Covered Hardware before receiving the damaged Hardware, subject to replacement availability.
- PerfectCall provides a prepaid standard return label for the damaged Covered Hardware from a United States address.
- You must return the damaged Hardware using PerfectCall's instructions within thirty (30) days after the replacement is shipped, unless PerfectCall approves additional time in writing.
- PerfectCall inspects the returned Hardware and closes the claim.
DiamondCare+ return requirement
The damaged Covered Hardware remains subject to mandatory return. If it is not returned within the required period, PerfectCall may charge the retail purchase price of the replacement Hardware. PerfectCall will disclose that amount before shipping the advance replacement.
If post-return inspection shows that the claim materially differed from the information provided and the damage is not covered, PerfectCall may require you either to return the advance replacement in like-new condition within fourteen (14) days or pay the disclosed retail purchase price of the replacement, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
8.3 No In-Home Service
In-home or on-site repair service is not provided. Covered Hardware must be shipped to the location identified in PerfectCall's return instructions.
8.4 Authorized Service
Service under the Plan may be performed only by PerfectCall or a repair or fulfillment provider authorized by PerfectCall. Unauthorized repair or modification may result in denial of a claim if it caused or contributed to the claimed damage.
8.5 Denied Claims
If Hardware submitted under DiamondCare is found not to qualify for coverage, PerfectCall will notify you and may offer an out-of-plan repair or replacement at the price quoted at that time. If you decline, PerfectCall will return the Hardware; you are responsible for return shipping unless applicable law requires otherwise.
9. REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT
PerfectCall may satisfy an approved claim by repairing the Covered Hardware or replacing it with new, refurbished, recertified, or functionally equivalent Hardware. Replacement Hardware may differ in color, cosmetic details, revision, or model where the original version is unavailable, provided the replacement is reasonably capable of performing the covered function.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, replaced or surrendered damaged Hardware becomes the property of PerfectCall. Replacement Hardware becomes the property of the Plan Holder and is registered to the Covered System for the remaining Plan term.
If PerfectCall cannot reasonably repair or replace Covered Hardware, PerfectCall will provide another remedy required by applicable law or agreed with the Plan Holder.
10. YOUR OBLIGATIONS
To maintain eligibility for Plan service, you must:
- use and store Covered Hardware in a manner reasonably consistent with PerfectCall's published instructions;
- take reasonable care of the Hardware and not intentionally or recklessly damage it;
- keep device serial numbers and registration information reasonably current;
- provide truthful and materially complete information when making a claim;
- return damaged Hardware when required; and
- use PerfectCall-approved packaging and shipping instructions for an authorized return.
The Plan does not require scheduled preventive maintenance. Failure to perform routine preventive maintenance will not by itself void the Plan. However, damage caused by misuse, improper storage, incompatible power equipment, unauthorized modifications, or other excluded conduct is not covered.
11. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS
11.1 Your Right to Cancel
You may cancel the Plan at any time by emailing help@perfectcallsports.com or by mailing a cancellation request to the address in Section 17. No special form is required.
11.2 Sixty-Day Free-Look Period
If you cancel within sixty (60) days after receiving these Plan Terms and no Plan claim has been made, PerfectCall will refund the full Plan price.
If a Plan claim has been made during the first sixty (60) days, the refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis using the method required or permitted by applicable law. Where permitted, the value of Plan benefits already provided may be taken into account.
11.3 Cancellation After Sixty Days
If you cancel after the first sixty (60) days, PerfectCall will provide a pro-rata refund based on the unused portion of the Plan term, reduced by the value of Plan benefits already provided only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
PerfectCall does not charge a cancellation or administrative fee for Plan cancellation.
11.4 Refund Timing
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method, purchaser, assignee, or lender as appropriate within thirty (30) days after PerfectCall receives a valid cancellation request and the information reasonably necessary to calculate the refund. If applicable law requires a faster refund, additional payment, or interest for delay, PerfectCall will comply with that law.
11.5 Return of the Varsity System
If the Covered System is returned to PerfectCall for a refund under the applicable Terms of Sale, the Plan will also terminate. The Plan refund will be determined under this Section and applicable law.
12. SALE, TRANSFER, LOSS, THEFT, OR DESTRUCTION OF COVERED HARDWARE
12.1 Transfer of the Plan
The Plan does not automatically transfer when the Covered System is sold or transferred. A Plan Holder may request transfer of the remaining Plan to a new owner by contacting PerfectCall. Any approved transfer requires the new owner to accept the applicable Plan Terms and does not restart the Plan term or restore any used service allowance. PerfectCall does not charge a transfer fee unless a fee is expressly disclosed and permitted by applicable law.
12.2 If You Sell the Covered System
If you sell or permanently transfer the Covered System and do not transfer the Plan, you may cancel the Plan and receive any refund due under Section 11 and applicable law.
12.3 Lost or Stolen Hardware
Loss and theft are not covered. If all Covered Hardware is permanently lost or stolen, you may cancel the remaining Plan and receive any refund due under Section 11 and applicable law. PerfectCall may request reasonable documentation of the loss or theft.
12.4 Destroyed Hardware
If Covered Hardware is destroyed by a Covered Damage event and PerfectCall replaces it under the Plan, coverage continues on the replacement for the remaining term and service allowance. If the Covered System is destroyed by an excluded event and cannot continue in service, you may cancel the Plan and receive any refund required under Section 11 and applicable law.
13. CANCELLATION BY PERFECTCALL
PerfectCall may cancel the Plan before expiration only for:
- failure to pay the Plan price or a valid charge owed under these Plan Terms;
- fraud or material misrepresentation relating to Plan enrollment or a claim;
- a material breach of these Plan Terms that is not cured after reasonable notice where cure is possible;
- use of the Plan for an unlawful purpose; or
- a circumstance in which applicable law requires or permits cancellation and PerfectCall complies with the required notice and refund obligations.
If PerfectCall cancels for a reason other than fraud, nonpayment, or an uncured material breach by the Plan Holder, PerfectCall will provide at least the pro-rata refund required by applicable law.
14. CLAIM REVIEW AND INFORMAL DISPUTE PROCESS
14.1 Claim Decision
PerfectCall will notify you whether a claim is approved, denied, or requires additional information. If a claim is denied, PerfectCall will provide the principal reason for the denial.
14.2 Internal Review
If you disagree with a claim decision, you may request an internal review by emailing help@perfectcallsports.com and identifying the claim and the reason you believe the decision should be changed. PerfectCall will conduct a good-faith review and communicate the result within a reasonable time.
14.3 Other Dispute Rights
If the dispute is not resolved through the internal review process, the dispute-resolution provisions in the PerfectCall Terms of Service and Terms of Sale apply, except to the extent applicable law gives you a different or additional remedy that cannot be waived.
15. STATE-SPECIFIC RIGHTS
Service-contract and protection-plan laws vary by state. If any provision of these Plan Terms provides less protection than a non-waivable right available under the law that applies to you, the applicable law controls and these Plan Terms will be interpreted to provide at least the required protection.
15.1 California
For California transactions to which California service-contract law applies, these Plan Terms are intended to disclose the covered products, Plan commencement and duration, service obligations, exclusions, service limits, claim procedure, transportation responsibilities, cancellation and refund rights, transfer limitations, and informal dispute process. Any additional cancellation, refund, delivery, registration, or other rights required by California law apply whether or not repeated here.
A California purchaser entitled to a statutory refund will receive at least the amount required by applicable California law. If a required cancellation refund is not timely paid, any statutory interest or other remedy required by California law will apply.
15.2 Other States
State-specific notices or addenda provided with your Plan are part of these Plan Terms. If a state-specific addendum conflicts with these general Plan Terms, the addendum controls for residents or transactions to which it applies.
16. RELATIONSHIP TO OTHER PERFECTCALL TERMS
These Plan Terms govern DiamondCare and DiamondCare+ coverage and claim administration. The PerfectCall Terms of Sale govern the purchase and ownership of Varsity Hardware, the standard manufacturer warranty, payment terms, and related commercial matters. The PerfectCall Terms of Service govern use of accounts, Software, and Services. The Privacy Policy governs PerfectCall's handling of personal information.
If there is a conflict concerning DiamondCare or DiamondCare+ coverage, exclusions, service limits, cancellation, or claim administration, these Plan Terms control unless a state-specific addendum, separately signed agreement, or applicable law provides otherwise.
The Plan is separate from the Varsity Limited Warranty. Purchasing a Plan is not required to purchase Varsity Hardware, and declining a Plan does not reduce the manufacturer's written warranty rights that otherwise apply to the purchased Hardware.
17. SERVICE CONTRACTOR / OBLIGOR AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Service Contractor / Obligor: PerfectCall Inc.
Business Name: PerfectCall
Claims and Customer Service: support@perfectcallsports.com
Authorized Service: PerfectCall or a service provider specifically authorized by PerfectCall.
Service Location: Provided with the applicable RMA / claim authorization.
No person other than PerfectCall or a provider expressly authorized by PerfectCall is authorized to approve Plan claims or make binding coverage commitments on PerfectCall's behalf.
18. GENERAL
18.1 No Retroactive Changes
The Plan Terms in effect when your Plan is purchased govern that Plan for its fixed term. PerfectCall may revise the terms offered for future Plans, but will not retroactively reduce the coverage or service allowance of an existing Plan except where a change is required by law and is implemented in a manner permitted by law.
18.2 Entire Protection Plan Agreement
These Plan Terms, your Plan confirmation or applicable Order, any state-specific addendum, and any separate written agreement signed by PerfectCall concerning the Plan constitute the agreement governing DiamondCare or DiamondCare+ coverage.
18.3 Severability
If a provision of these Plan Terms is invalid or unenforceable, it will be limited or severed to the minimum extent required and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
18.4 No Waiver
Failure to enforce a provision in one instance does not waive PerfectCall's right to enforce that provision in another instance, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
