Why PerfectCall
Electronic play-calling can be as simple as replacing hand signs.
We wanted it to do more.
PerfectCall gives the coach a visual playbook built around baseball and softball language, lets one play carry different instructions to different players, and gives programs a path from pitch calling to full-game communication.
With Advance, the same platform can also chart what happens, build tendencies over time, and bring useful matchup information back to the dugout.
Call the game the way you coach it.
01
Call it the way you say it.
Fastball. Low away. Hold runner.
That is how coaches talk. It is also how PerfectCall works.
Choose the pitch, location, and modifier from the Coach Tablet using the same language your staff already uses. See the complete call before you send it.
No translating the call into a button sequence. No asking the staff to memorize what every number means. No rebuilding your pitching language around the device.
Your pitches. Your terminology. Your game.
2-Seam Fastball · Low Away · Hold Runner
Tap it. Send it.
02
One play. Different jobs.
A defensive call rarely means the same thing to everybody.
On a bunt defense, the shortstop may cover second while the second baseman covers first. Those are two different assignments inside one play.
Advance lets you build the play that way.
Send the call once and put the instruction that matters on each player’s wrist.
Shortstop → Cover 2nd
Second Base → Cover 1st
The same idea extends across the game: pitching, bunt coverages, picks, first-and-third, offensive calls, baserunning, and the rest of your system.
One call from the dugout.
Everybody gets their job.
03
No bars? No problem.
The live call should not depend on what kind of service the ballpark happens to have.
PerfectCall does not need stadium Wi-Fi or cellular coverage to deliver the call.
Tap the Coach Tablet and the Hub sends it directly to the player devices in under a second.
That matters at remote complexes. It matters inside cages and metal buildings. It matters when thousands of people show up for a tournament weekend.
The internet still has a job.
Stats can sync later. Scouting information can download when a connection is available.
The live call does not wait for one.
Why dedicated radio matters →04
Keep what the game teaches you.
Getting the call to the field solves one problem.
Advance keeps going.
Chart pitches and results during the game. Build heatmaps, spray charts, matchup history, pitcher command, and hitter tendencies as the season goes on.
Then use that information when the matchup comes back around.
- Where is this hitter doing damage?
- What is getting him out?
- Where is our pitcher commanding each pitch?
- What happened the last time they faced each other?
Before the game, the Battle Card brings useful matchup information back to the Coach Tablet where the coach can actually use it.
It does not make the call for you.
You do.
PerfectCall helps make sure the information behind that decision is there when you want it.
Call it. Chart it. Use it.
PerfectCall Advance connects three parts of the game that are usually separate.
- Call it. Make the decision and communicate it to the field.
- Chart it. Capture what actually happened.
- Use it. Turn a season of pitches into tendencies, matchups, and information for the next decision.
Communication → Capture → Learn → Use
No separate play-calling system on one side and disconnected analytics product on the other.
One platform built around the game.
Compare the coaching experience.
Play-calling systems can arrive at the same basic result in very different ways.
The biggest differences are not the logos.
They are what the coach has to do to make the call, what the player receives, and how much the system can do beyond that first message.
| Feature | PerfectCall | GoRout Diamond | Game Day Signals | PitchCom |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coach interface | Visual Coach Tablet | App / tablet | Numeric keypad | Button transmitter |
| How the coach builds a call | Named pitches, locations, modifiers & plays | Saved plays / grid-based interface | Numeric codes or translated signs | Button combinations |
| Player output | Visual wrist receiver | Visual wearable | Visual receiver | Audio or visual receiver |
| Position-specific communication | Yes — different assignments inside one named play | Yes | — | Receiver-specific programming |
| Cell service needed for live calls | No | Yes | No | No |
There is no single interface every coach should prefer.
Some coaches like buttons and muscle memory. Some like numeric codes. Some want an app.
PerfectCall is for staffs that want to see the actual call, build the system around their own terminology, and have room to communicate more than a pitch.
